Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-21-v2 · Effective 21 October 2026

How BLITZEN RUDOLPH LTD handles personal data in Speedy Courier Software.

1. Our identity

Speedy Courier Software is a trading name of BLITZEN RUDOLPH LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 14874446. Registered office: 1a Highfield Road, Dartford, England, DA1 2JH. The company is VAT registered.

2. Who controls your data

We act as controller for website visits, company registration, authentication administration, subscription billing, support, security and our own business communications. For personal data that courier companies enter about their customers, drivers, jobs, location tracking and proof of delivery, the subscribing courier company will generally be controller and we act as processor. Direct questions about a delivery or driver record to the relevant courier company.

3. Data we collect

We may process business contact details, company details, login identifiers, account activity, billing identifiers and card status (not full card numbers), support messages, device/browser information, technical logs and security events. Our Service may process names, addresses, phone numbers, delivery instructions, location information, signatures and photographs on behalf of subscribing businesses.

4. Speedy Driver location tracking

Speedy Driver is used by drivers working for courier companies that use Speedy Courier Software. When location tracking is enabled for work, the app may collect precise device location while the driver is using the app and while the app is running in the background, including when the screen is locked or another app such as a navigation app is in use.

This location data is used to provide the courier company with operational driver tracking for active courier work, including helping dispatch staff monitor driver location and manage deliveries. Location data is transmitted to Speedy Courier Software systems and made available to authorised users of the relevant courier company. It is not used for advertising and we do not sell location data.

Background location is used because courier work and location tracking may need to continue while a driver is travelling and Speedy Driver is not visible on screen. Drivers can stop location access through their device permissions or by stopping use of the relevant tracking functionality, although doing so may prevent live tracking features from operating correctly.

5. Why and legal bases

We process account and billing information to perform contracts and administer subscriptions; retain necessary accounting records to meet legal obligations; and process security logs, service analytics and support communications where justified by legitimate interests. Where consent is required for optional cookies or marketing, we will request it separately. Acceptance of contractual terms is not consent to unrelated marketing.

6. Recipients and international transfers

We use service providers for hosting, authentication, payments (including Stripe), email, mapping and operational support. Data may be processed outside the UK; where required we use appropriate transfer safeguards. We do not sell personal data. Access to tenant data should be limited to authorised users and necessary service providers.

7. Retention and security

We retain information while needed to operate accounts and meet legal, tax, security or dispute-resolution obligations. Operational records may be deleted or returned after termination in accordance with the applicable processing agreement. We use access controls and other appropriate security measures, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on circumstances, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Contact us through the website or your support account. For information controlled by a courier company, contact that company directly. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

9. Cookies and updates

Essential cookies and local storage may be used for authentication, security and session continuity. Any non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should only be used with the permissions required by law. We may update this notice and publish the revised date on this page.
